Delivery & Terms
Browse through our catalogue and click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into the shopping basket. When you have made your selection, click on “checkout”. You will then be asked to provide details so that we can process the order. Orders are usually sent to the billing address of the cardholder placing the order.
We try to process all orders, where possible, within 2 working days. Whilst most items will be despatched within this time frame, please also allow a further 3-5 days for delivery within the UK. 5-7 days for Europe and 7-14 days the Rest of World. If you require guaranteed urgent delivery in the UK, please use the Express option. Orders placed before 1pm Monday-Friday will be shipped for delivery next working day, orders placed after 1pm will usually be shipped the next working day. So if you ordered at 2.30pm on Friday the order would be shipped on Monday for delivery Tuesday. If you ordered at 9am Monday it would be shipped the same day for delivery Tuesday.
UK orders are usually sent using Royal Mail post, some heavy orders are sent by courier. We are currently trialing alternative delivery methods following the Royal Mail price rises - if you require your order quickly please let us know when ordering.
Oxfordshire customers are welcome to collect their order by appointment - please indicate this when ordering and we'll let you know when it's ready, we can refund any postal charge paid when you collect.
Our Delivery Charges for UK mainland (inc. Northern Ireland):
For UK mainland deliveries, first class postage & packing is £2.95 for all orders, Standard (second class) delivery is available FREE on orders over £25 - please select second class delivery during checkout. Items mailed within the UK will normally be sent by Royal Mail and insured by us. Heavier items may be sent by courier and will normally be insured for our replacement value of the item. Express delivery is available at a flat rate of £7.95 for UK customers. Delivery will be by Special Delivery (our courier if over 2kg), orders placed before 1pm Monday - Friday will be despatched the same day for next working day delivery. Orders received after 1pm or on weekends or public holidays will be despatched on the next working day for delivery the following working day. Earthwise Girls reserves the right to replace any of the above services, without notice, for a similar or enhanced service, where we deem it to be more appropriate.
Overseas & non-mainland UK delivery:
For overseas and non-mainland UK deliveries, postage will be charged at cost PLUS a small fee for packaging and handling. Our standard postage rates are £7.50 for Europe, and £10.00 for the rest of the world, however if the actual shipping cost is substantially more than these amounts, we will contact you before sending your order, giving you a corrected shipping quote - at which point you can either agree to proceed and pay any additional amount, or cancel your order. Items mailed outside the UK will normally be sent Airmail, and insured to the value of £30.00. Heavier items may be sent Surface mail (if selected) and will normally be insured to the value of £30.00. If a buyer requires enhanced insurance, tracked delivery or an expedited service please email the above for a quote BEFORE placing your order. We accept payments in UK pounds via Sagepay, safe online merchants that allow you to pay with your credit or debit card. We do not store your card details. If you prefer you may also order and pay by phone - 01865 407574. We also accept payment by bankers transfer and cheques. Cheques should be payable to Earthwise Trading. Purchases are shipped once we have cleared funds in our bank.
At Earthwise Girls, we want you to receive your purchase in the same great condition it left us. We use only good quality, discreet, reclaimed, recycled or recyclable packaging for your orders. Occasionally this may include plastic packaging, it depends what we've been gifted for reuse. We too buy online and can assure you that no-one takes better care of your purchases. In the unlikely event that an item should arrive damaged due to our negligence, please let us know straight away by phone or e-mail. You can then simply return the item and a replacement will be mailed out within two working days, free of any charge.
If you are not happy with your purchase, please return it to us within 14 days, including your name, address, invoice number, and the reason for the return. We will make a refund, provided the goods are returned in perfect condition and in their original packaging. If you would prefer an exchange, please let us know. Your original standard delivery cost can be refunded if the entire order has been returned and no exchanges requested, however any enhanced delivery fee will not be refunded. The cost of returning an item rests with the customer, unless the item was faulty or we have made a mistake with your order, in which case we will often send out an SAE, please ask first. We recommend using an enhanced service such as recorded or special delivery, for your own protection, as we cannot accept responsibility for items which go missing in the post when being returned by you. At the very least please obtain a free certificate of posting from the post office.
Items lost or damaged in the post that have been packed correctly are usually insured. If items arrive damaged, please retain all packaging as this may be required for any claim. Please be aware that the Royal Mail does not consider an item to be lost until 15 working days after the date of posting - if your order does not arrive after then, we will send replacement goods at our expense. Please also enquire at your local sorting office if an expected parcel has not arrived. For items lost or damaged in transit, we will fill out any necessary claims forms, and you are expected to give reasonable assistance in the making of a claim - in most cases you will not need to do anything, however you may be contacted by the postal service to confirm that the items were not received or were damaged.
If you have a faulty product, please let us know and we will do all we can to put things right for you.
For hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns of used menstrual products.
