MoonTimes Sea Sponge Tampons come in a pack of 2 with a handy storage bag (colours may vary).  They are easy to use and care for and come with full instructions.  In essence, you simply wet the sea sponge tampon, squeeze out excess water, and insert.  Every few hours, remove the sponge, rinse it and squeeze it out, and re-insert.  If it is not convenient to rinse, use the second sponge instead and pop the used one into the storage pouch to be rinsed and washed at a more convenient time.  The sponges can be trimmed slightly if you find they are a little too big - or if you have a very heavy flow, you can use both sponges at the same time.  With care, the Moon Sponges should last for around a year, and at the end of their useful life, can be composted.  Always wash your hands before and after inserting/removing your Sea Sponge Tampon.

It is not recommended to use the Sea Sponge Tampon overnight, so we recommend using a reusable sanitary towel instead.  We also stock a range of reusable panty liners if you would like the reassurance of a liner when first using a sea sponge tampon.
